Since January, the Ergro Projects team has been busy working on our large chiller replacement project at Thomas More Square in St Katherines Dock, London.
The progress so far has been impressive, with all pipework for chiller 1 complete, and testing currently well underway. Pipework for chiller 2 is also nearly complete with the final positional welds left to be carried out. Prefabricating as much of the pipework off site as possible has sped up the installation process and also reduced the amount of hot work needed on site.
Electrical work has been ongoing, with all power and control cables near to connection. The new BMS backbone is in place and the installation of chiller 2 is underway, with our teams having been strategically phased to complete chiller 1 in time to move straight onto the next.
Despite all the ongoing work, the live office building has remained fully occupied and operational throughout the project, with our specialist team working hard to ensure that any necessary disruption to occupants is kept to an absolute minimum.
