Ergro-Earth

The rate that the Earth’s temperature has risen per decade since the industrial revolution has more than doubled since 1981. This temperature increase has culminated in the eight years from 2013 through to 2021 ranking among the 10 warmest years on record.

In addition, from 1980-1999, there were 4,212 natural disasters. This figure almost doubled from 2000 to 2019, to 7,348 major natural disasters around the world resulting in $2.97 trillion in global economic losses

Client Carbon Reduction Strategy.

Ergro have developed a comprehensive five stage strategy to identify and action energy management initiatives with the aim of reducing energy consumption, utilities bills, and carbon emissions.

Monitor.

1.

Capture live data on asset performance and energy consumption

Analyse.

2.

Interrogate data to identify where assets are operating outside of their controls strategy, identifying hotspots of energy consumption

Recommend.

3.

Provide targeted recommendations that reduce energy consumption and subsequent emissions, including changes to controls strategies, replacement systems or the implementation of innovative technology

Scope.

4.

We work with our specialist sustainability partners to fully scope each recommendation, including confirming all project energy savings, costs, timescales and return on investment periods

Implement.

5.

We manage the delivery of all recommendations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget

Specialist Sustainability Partners.

Ergro have identified a variety of specialist service partners who provide innovative sustainability products and services that reduce asset energy consumption, improve asset performance, and help create more sustainable buildings.

Smart Monitoring

By applying sensors to major assets, we capture live data on asset performance and energy consumption. This data is then used to provide our clients with recommendations to improve the assets performance. We are offering a three-month free trial of a selection of sensors on major plant.

AC Compressor Optimisation

This retrofit technology can be applied to a range of Air Conditioning assets. The unit reduces the assets energy consumption without affecting the required output. The device allows the compressor to react dynamically to the buildings cooling load and reduce the run time of the unit without compromising the cooling output.

Limescale Softener

This retrofit technology is installed on your incoming water supply. The design of the unit changes the composition of calcium particles making them much smaller and allowing them to pass through the system. This dramatically reduces limescale build up and helps improve the transfer of heat

Gas Fuel Optimiser

This retrofit technology is installed the gas supply to your boiler. The unit targets the Parahydrogen molecules and converts them into Orthohydrogen molecules, thus allowing a more efficient combustion. By increasing the combustion efficiency, less fuel is burned to achieve the desired setpoint.

Heat Transfer Fluid

This innovative non-corrosive and nontoxic heat transfer nanofluid additive is dosed into the chillers closed water circuit to drastically improve the systems heat transfer efficiency. This helps to reduce the compressor lift and electrical energy consumption

Voltage Optimisation

The Voltage Optimisation unit is designed to provide a supply voltage of around 220V. This ensure that the correct voltage is supplied to all assets to prevent any wastage. This technology will reduce your voltage by between 6% and 10%, saving your company up to 19% on your electricity bill.

Roadmap.
We have recognised our responsibility to make meaningful internal changes to transition Ergro towards a more sustainable future.

Over the last decade we identified and implemented a variety of initiatives to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels and reduce waste from our processes wherever possible.

Looking forward into the future, we have set a variety of ambitious goals to further enhance the sustainability of our business and provide a positive environmental impact on our planet.
