This week our ‘Meet The Team’ shines a light on our Credit Controller – Sharon Oliver. Catching up with Sharon this week, we find out a bit more of what makes her tick and what her day-today life working at Ergro is like…
What made you choose to work Ergro?
“I first came here as temp for a year. I wanted to make sure it was where I wanted to be, then after a year I signed a contract and decided it was the place for me. If I’m honest, I’d like Ergro to be my last job, that I retire from, nowhere else, as I am happy and content.”
What’s the best thing about coming into the office?
“I only work 3 days a week, so I look forward to the socialising. We have a good team and a friendly atmosphere. We have generous managers who reward us with lunches and treats too!”
What is something about yourself that people might find surprising?
“I qualified as an aromatherapy masseur. I didn’t pursue it in the end due to having to do feet, which I hate! Also I’ve jumped off the sky tower in New Zealand (328 meters high!). I was taunted by the others I was with because I wouldn’t walk around the outside on the glass platform, so I decided to go one better. Best thing ever!”
If you could have any other job, what would you do?
“I would want to run a donkey sanctuary. I feel they are the most mistreated animal ever and I love them. And anything else that comes along, I’d probably take them in too. Especially dogs.”
