This morning, Ergro’s very own Chairman Chris Wollen, his 14 year old son Jed Wollen, Ergro MD Paul Martin and Ergro Senior Project Manager Billy Hodges, set off with friends, suppliers and clients on a 300 mile bike ride from London to Amsterdam to raise money and awareness for various charities.

The preparation for all involved has been gruelling, but with the injuries and all of the tough weather training sessions overcome, the 4 day event is finally under way!

As Day one draws to a close, the team have just boarded a ferry from Dover to Calais, having covered an impressive 64 miles in 6.5 hours!

Just a short rest for the cyclists in Calais tonight, before hopping back on first thing tomorrow morning and tackling the next leg to Bruges.

Roughly £10k has so far been raised which is continuing to increase. Best of luck to all participants, and congratulations on a successful day 1!

Stay tuned for regular updates on their progress and please also follow us on twitter @Ergro_Group to find out more.
