Satisfying the kneads of the business at Hovis

This ten week project involved the complete refurbishment of a disused warehouse to make it fully operational as loading bays and internal office areas for this nationwide brand. This complex scheme tested our expertise in steelwork design, asbestos removal and fit-out and we are proud to be associated with it. The carefully executed delivery, installation and project management skills of our senior project manager ensured that despite the time frame and a range of complications, this job was delivered on time and on budget.

The tight time frame of just over two months wasn’t a problem for our specialist team, even despite the fact that asbestos was identified early in the project. Our specialist asbestos team was on hand and swung into action immediately. A swift re positioning of the site access meant that the works could continue while the asbestos was removed.

Weekends and bank holidays were no barriers either – the onsite team pulled out all the stops to reach the deadline and weekly onsite progress meetings with the client and the workforce maintained good communications.
